The original full-metal shock-resistant structure has been updated to accommodate the blue sapphire settings. The holes bored through the bezel dimples are fitted with stainless-steel mounting bases and rubber buffering components that support each gemstone securely from below. This preserves the original shock-resistant performance while making the blue sapphire design possible.
