The Oris x Bracenet is a special version of our Aquis Date 43.50 mm with a dial made of recycled fishing nets created in partnership with the German social enterprise Bracenet.
The Oris x Bracenet 43.5 mm watch features a unique dial made from melted fishing nets, sourced from Bracenet. Each dial is unique due to the random process. The result is an ocean-inspired dial, a daily reminder of your contribution to ocean conservation.
Bracenet focuses on the dangers of ‘ghost nets’—lost fishing nets that harm marine life. With up to a million tonnes entering oceans annually, these nets pose a long-term threat. Despite the challenge, Bracenet is committed to recovering these nets and promoting conservation.
Case: Multi-piece stainless steel case, minutes scale top ring. Sapphire, domed on both sides, anti-reflective coating inside. Stainless steel, screwed, see-through mineral glass, special engravings.
Movement: Centre hands for hours, minutes and seconds, date window, instantaneous date, date corrector, fine timing device and stop-second.
