Limited to 500 units, the latest edition of the Mackinac features a unique 40mm square stainless-steel case with an exhibition case back window that reveals the automatic SW511.bhc movement inside. The Bermuda blue dial pops with orange and off-white details and contrasts with the three-tone blue yacht timer sub dial. With a new quick-release stainless steel mesh bracelet and a 10 ATM rating, it's the perfect naval companion for sport or leisure's, whatever floats your boat.  Established by Detroit's historic Bayview Yacht club, the days-long Port Huron to Mackinac Island regatta is one of the longest and most grueling freshwater races in the world.  Named for this legendary competition, the Shinola Mackinac is our first watch with automatic, single-eye chronograph yacht-timer functionality. It's a precision instrument designed to be passed on for generations just like the tradition that inspires it.

ZERO MINUTESTO START : Also called a regatta timer, this unique chronographic function is designed specifically for sailboat racing. Unlike power boats, yachts use the wind to get up to speed. At the beginning of a regatta, flags and horns count down five, four, one, and zero minutes to start and the competing yachts must cross the starting line at, but never before, their synchronized yacht timer.

AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH : Swiss-made stands SW511.bhc Elabor© grade movement with premium finishing including a blued screws and Geneva striping. Bespoke black rhodium plated rotor with orange bolt and maritime flag graphic treatment. Hours, minutes, chronograph second with 15-minute counter and date functionalities. 27 jewels minimize friction. Minimum 56-hour power reserve.

THE CASE SQUARED AWAY : The square case of this 40mm chronograph is crafted from polished stainless steel with alternating brushed and polished surfaces and is finished with sapphire crystal. A full exhibition case back reveals the custom etched rotor.

DIAL SAILOR'S DELIGHT: 60 and 30 second markers on the lively, highly readable double-layer dial stands out alongside the yacht timer and date window.
